Registration FAQ

How do I register for the conference?

Conference registration is now open. Please refer to the registration page and click the “Register Now!” button.

I haven’t received my confirmation email.

A confirmation email as shown below will automatically be sent after you have completed your registration. Please confirm that you have completed your registration.

Subject: [ESV2023] Your registration is complete (Registration No: RXXXX)

Please check the following points at first:

  • Mistake in input of your email address
  • Your inbox is set to delete or separate emails from unknown users.

If you do not receive your confirmation email within 1 hour of your registration, please contact the Secretariat (27esv-reg@c-linkage.co.jp).

Can I pay by cash or check?

No, payments can only be made by credit card.

What credit cards do you take?

VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Diners and JCB. Please contact the Secretariat for any inquiries (27esv-reg@c-linkage.co.jp).

I can’t make my card payment even though I am using a credit card type listed above.

Please confirm that your card payments are not set to revolving payments or installments. We only accept a 'lump-sum' payment.

  • Please confirm that the card number, expiration date and security number are entered correctly.
  • When information of one card is entered too many times, payments via the card can be declined. In that case, please use another card.
  • If you receive the error number “42G300000”, please read the below.

    Error number 42G300000 signifies a "pending decision" for approval by the credit card company.
    The use of your card may be under suspicion for the following reasons:
    - When purchasing expensive items (large payments)
    - Purchases made at night or past midnight
    - Payments made on a site from abroad

    Solutions:

    (1) Wait some time and make the payment again.

    (2) Contact your credit card company to approve payment

    (3) Please also try the following steps:

    • Sign out of your account, restart your computer and sign in again.
    • Clear all browser cookies and cache, and/or use incognito window (Control + Shift + N, or Command + Shift + N) before filling out the registration form again.
    • Try using different devices or browsers, and from different access points (work/home).
      Sometimes there are firewall/security settings that hinder the payment completion.
      Recommended browser: The latest version of Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Apple Safari.
    • Make sure that all registration form fields and credit card information fields are filled out correctly.
      Check for unnecessary spaces.
    • Try using a different credit card.
    • Sometimes the internet traffic prevents the payment from going through.
      Try again after a while.

What is the registration cancelation policy?

  • Before Feb. 4, 2022: 75% of your registration fee will be refunded.
  • After Feb. 4, 2022: 25% of your registration fee will be refunded.
  • After March. 4, 2022: No registration fee will be refunded.

Is there a discount for presenters of the technical session?

There is no discount for presenters of the technical session.

Can you issue an invoice?

Please email the Secretariat (27esv-reg@c-linkage.co.jp). We will provide invoices individually.

Do you offer a group discount?

There is no group discount.
